In 2013 Spence began his tattoo career out in the San Fernando Valley. With a solid background in drawing, oil painting, and digital media - he shifted that skillset into custom-drawn pieces for his clients.
He made his way back to Thousand Oaks in 2018, where he was born and raised, to tattoo at Dire Wolf. Spence has tattooed quite a few styles over the years but finds most inspiration when clients are looking for nature-driven, larger scale compositions; specializing in black and grey, oriental-inspired motifs involving flowers, snakes, skulls, dragons, animals, waves and clouds. He is also happy to do full color pieces as well.
Outside of tattooing and painting Spence loves being active; backpacking trails in the Sierra Nevadas and all over the country, camping, swimming, running and lifting.
